In this mygroundforce article, we will show you how to configure DOT Medical Expiration Compliance Notification.
1. On the left side menu of the screen, click on Settings.
2. Then click on Notifications.
3. On the Compliance tab, click to edit ( just below actions ) the DOT Medical Expiration.
4. On this screen, you can edit and add DOT Medical Expiration notifications. To create a new notification rule click on + Add.
5. In this screen, you must fill the fields Days to Expiration - Initial, Days to Expiration - Final, Status, and Notice Frequency.
For example, if you want a notification to go off between 60 and 30 days to expiration, fill in Days to Expiration - Initial to 60 and Days to Expiration - Final to 30.
6. In the Status field you can select whether this notification will be Active or Inactive.
7. In the Notice Frequency field, you can set up the frequency of the notification - Every
Day, Monthly, Twice a Week, or Weekly.
8. This field allows choosing the notification's one or more recipients. Make sure you enable the checkbox located to the left-side of the screen. To choose a profile type, so that all employees with that profile receive an SMS notification, click on the dropdown field on the right.

12. To send notifications via email to a predetermined distribution list click on the checkbox field shown below to activate it and on the side choose the distribution list.

14. To choose specific employees to receive the notification e-mail, enable the checkbox on the left by clicking on it, then use the dropdown selection box on the right to select one or more employees.
16. To send notifications to one or more specific e-mail addresses, click on the checkbox on the left to activate it, then type one or more e-mail addresses (separated by a semi-column ; ) to receive the notification.
To add more than one email address, they must be separated by a semicolon.
18. To finish click on Save.
19. Click Yes to confirm.
Returning to the Registered Rules - DOT Medical Expiration screen, in these buttons below it is possible to edit or inactivate (disable) a notification.
