Driver Utilization 

The Driver Utilization dashboard displays the total revenue divided by the total payroll costs for a specific driver within your organization. This information can be sorted by Week Endings, Monthly and Quarterly periods, specific Regions and specific Drivers.

 

Use the checkbox Deduct Fuel Surcharge to remove that value from the calculation.

 

The formula for the Driver Utilization is as follows:

 

Driver Utilizatio = Total Revenue for the Driver / Total Payroll Cost for the Driver

 

The Total Revenue for the driver is calculated through the sum of all their different sources of revenue such as the Linehaul Daily Gross Amount, the Shuttle Daily Gross Amount, the Spot and Other Settlement Adjustments total. All of these values come from the settlement. Meanwhile the Total Payroll Cost for the driver includes all their approved payroll payments for both drivers and non-drivers included in the Payroll Report.

 

The Y axis displays the result of the formula, showing how much revenue the driver is generating in comparison to their payroll costs for each date displayed in the X axis.
