Guaranteed Daily Minimum

Guaranteed Daily Minimum

The Guaranteed Daily Minimum is an additional payroll payment method that ensures a driver receives a minimum daily amount, based on settlement data. It works as follows:
  1. How It’s Calculated:

For each day shown on the settlement, the system adds up all payroll earnings on that date for that driver from Linehaul, Shuttle, and Spot trips.

If the total earned on a specific day is more than the guaranteed minimum, the driver gets paid for that amount earned from the trips performed on the settlement (no changes).

If the total earned on a specific day is less than the guaranteed minimum, the system replaces the daily total with the guaranteed minimum.

  1. Special Option for Days Without Work:

You can choose to pay the Guaranteed Minimum even on days when the driver hasn’t worked (no trips show non the settlement). This ensures the driver receives a minimum payroll amount for those days too.

How to Set Up the Guaranteed Daily Minimum Payment

General Entity Payroll Settings

  3. Find the Guaranteed Minimum tab.

  5. If you want to pay drivers the guaranteed minimum even for days they didn’t work, check the box for Receive Guaranteed Minimum Payment for Days Not Worked.

For a Specific Driver

  1. Go to the Employee Registry and select the edit button for a specific driver, and click on the Payroll Settings tab for the driver.
