Overview
The DVIR Inspection Reports report allows authorized users to review vehicle and asset inspection reports from Motive directly in myGroundForce.
The report is designed to help users monitor inspection activity and identify reports with defects.
Accessing the Report
Go to:
Reports → Motive Inspection Reports (DVIR)
The report is available to users with the following profiles:
How the Report Works
The report retrieves inspection data on demand from Motive when you open the report or change a filter.
By default, the report displays inspection reports from yesterday and includes all statuses.
The report only displays records that can be matched to active vehicles and drivers registered in myGroundForce.
Available Filters
You can refine the results using:
- Date Range — The selected period cannot exceed 7 days.
- Driver — Select from active drivers in myGroundForce.
- Vehicles — Select from active vehicles in myGroundForce.
- Status — Filter the reports according to the available Motive statuses.
The available statuses include: - All
- With Defects
- With No Defects
- With Signature Missing
- Unknown
- Harmless
- Corrected
Summary Counters
The report includes two summary counters:
- Total Inspection Reports
- Inspection Reports With Defects
These counters can also be used as quick filters. Selecting Inspection Reports With Defects filters the report to records with defects, while selecting Total Inspection Reports returns the status filter to All.
The report displays:
- Driver and Driver ID
- Inspection Date / Time
- Vehicle
- Open Defects
- Resolved Defects
- Inspection Duration
- Odometer
- Status
Status indicators are color-coded to make the results easier to review: - Green: With No Defects
- Yellow: With Defects
- Blue: Corrected
- Gray: Other statuses
Exporting the Report
After applying the desired filters, you can export or print the current report using:
- Excel
- PDF
- Print
The exported information matches the data and columns displayed on the screen.
Important Notes
- The maximum date range is 7 days.
- The report uses the inspection data returned by Motive at the time the report is requested.
- Only active myGroundForce vehicles and drivers are included.
- Inspection records that cannot be matched to an active myGroundForce vehicle or driver are not displayed.
- The report does not create maintenance items or work orders and does not update inspection information in Motive.
