Integration Settings

Integration Settings

The Integration Settings screen is where you can Add and Edit the credentials that mygroundforce will utilize to connect with other software services and tools that are relevant to your organization’s workings.

When accessing this page from Organization > Integration Settings, you will see a list of the integrations that you currently have added, from their name, to whether they’re set for a specific entity or an organization as a whole, their status and the Edit button to allow you to change the information within.

There are three different filters that can be utlized to sort through the registries in this screen, “Integration Type” displays only one form of Integration, “Items Per Page” affects how many items are visible in the screen and “Search” lets you look for a specific item by its name.

In regards to the Integration Types, these are the options that will usually be available:

      TruckSpy

      Motive

      Omnitracs

      Lytx

      FedEx MyBizAccount

      TireView

      Loves FleetRock

     Loves QuikQ

     Quickbooks Online

If you wish to add a new Integration to your myGroundforce account then you can click the Add button and the following screen will be displayed:

First and foremost you will see a note on the workings of the Integration Settings Registry, it’s highly recommended you read it in its entirety.

Below there are two different sections, the first is “Set Connection for:”, where you can choose whether the particular integration you are about to add will be applied to your organization as a whole or only to a specific entity within it.

Warning
Some integrations cannot be configured for connection at the organization level, only at the entity level (e.g., Loves QuickQ).

The second section in the form of the “Integration” Dropdown is where you will select what the system will be connecting to, with the options available being the same as those displayed in the list above.

Each Type will ask you for different types of credentials:

1.Truckspy

If you have a TruckSpy account then click yes and it will ask you to provide your user and password. If you would also like for mygroundforce to pull mileage info then mark the checkbox and provide a Client ID and Client Secret.

2.Motive

Click the Refresh button and you will be redirected to the Motive Oauth authorization process to complete the addition.

3.Omnitracs

5.FedEx

Mark the first checkbox if you’d like to have mygroundforce import your FedEx Ground information weekly, if so you will be asked to fill the fields below with your FedEx Id and Password.

The second checkbox can be marked if you wish for mygroundforce to update your password periodically, if so provide your current password and select whether you want to have it be updated after 30 or 60 days.

Info

The FedEx integration settings include features that provide transparency and control over automated password updates. When the option to periodically update the password is in use, the system will display three read-only fields. These fields provide a clear view of the password's status and history.

Last Password Update: This field shows the date and time of the most recent successful password update.

Next Password Update: This field displays the scheduled date for the next update. This date is automatically recalculated if a password is changed manually or by an automated job.

Last Updated By: This field identifies the user or job that performed the last password update.

9.  QuickBooks Online
Click the QuickBooks Online Authorization button and you will be redirected to the QuickBooks Online Oauth authorization process to complete the addition.

After connecting your QuickBooks Online account, MyGroundForce will automatically populate the necessary default configuration fields for the integration to function correctly. These fields, which will become mandatory to complete the setup, are:

  • Account: A dropdown list with all available accounts from your QuickBooks (for example, "Visa", "Mastercard", "Checking").

  • Payment Type: A dropdown list with the payment types available in your QuickBooks (for example, "CreditCard").

  • Category: A dropdown list with the expense categories available in your QuickBooks (for example, "Meals and Entertainment", "Automobile").

This automation simplifies the configuration process, ensuring that data exchange between the systems is accurate and secure from the start.
